[resolved] Problems installing MJ on J1.5.25

Hi,
I have tried to install MJ on my site site-right.se but it wont work.
1. Install the regular way with uploading the entire package fails with an empty browser window
2. Install from directory (after removing the packages/plugins/terawurfl directory) gives this error message:
JInstaller::install: The file '/home/u4534928/domains/sit-right.se/public_html/tmp/LICENSE.PHP' doesn't exist
Install Component: Error

3. Uploaded the entire packet and unzipped it in the File manager, then tried to install it after removing the ...terawurfl dir, but got this error message:
ERROR: Couldn't find a XML installation file in the packet.
Pathway does not include any valid packet

Seems like I have a big problem or is it solvable?
Looking forward  hearing from someone who knows.

Please I really need it and I've got it installed on a few sites already without any problems so why doesn't it work here?
My host is ballou.se and he works flawless with everything except from Mobile Joomla....

Check, maybe you removed LICENSE.PHP from that directory.


Actually, first of all I'd check error_log to get info why regular way fails.

I found a solution that might be interesting for you...

I unpacked everything and then repacked it as a .zip packet and installed it the regular way and it just worked!
As a zip packet not as a tar.gz or tar. Might have been some restrictions on the webhost that made tar.gz and .tar unexecutable.
So if anyone else has BIG problems and no explanations this might be the thing to do!

We don't use zip because of most of webservers has 2Mb limit for uploading, and zip archive of MJ exceeds that limit.

This seem to be a rare problem but for me and on two different hosts. ballou.se and fsdata.se it solved the problem.
