template not showing on iPad

I am using Mobile Joomla version 1.2.5.1 with Joomla 1.5.23 and elegance template.I have same previous issues with iPhone 5.The Mobile template was not showing on iPhone 5.Now this issue with iPad it showing desktop template not mobile template.When I use url like "domain.com/?device=xhtml" on ipad device. It showing mobile template.Why happening so.Please give clear idea about.

Tablets use desktop template, but in MJPro it's possible to set any template.

But iPhone 5 should be correctly detected as mobile device. At least we have never seen incorrect detecting working with mobilejoomla.com itself. You can check how your device is detected by different plugins at www.mobilejoomla.com/uatest.php

Can we do without using Mobile Joomla Pro for iPad.What thing do we need to change to showing mobile template on iPad.Because in reply you have posted about showing mobile template possibility
