Moved from Installation forum:

Hi

Using 1.0.1 of Mobile Joomla on Joomla 2.5.2

User-agent: Mozilla / 5.0 (Android; Linus armv71;rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20120215 Firefox / 10.0.2.Fennec /10.0.2

I think I have done everything right, but when I view it on my mobile (Atrix android cell phone) I don't see a mobile version

I am not using subdmains. The mobile joomla plugin is enabled

What do I need to do to fix this. (Note: working on Iphone - tested it today.) But not on androids.

Development site: www.rowbytesting.com

Please see screen captures. First the advanced tab:

Plugins seem okay- in correct order and enabled.

(Using sH404sef, by the way but have purged it (several times) after using mobile joomla. . htaccess with mod rewrite mode)

Thanks

Do you use Mobile-TeraWurfl plugin? Most likely Mobile-Simple doesn't detect Fennec browser as a mobile device (because of other part of User-Agent header looks like Android tablet header).

Thanks

Mozilla / 5.0 (Android: Linux armv71; rv:10.0.2
Gecko/20120215 Firefox/10.0.2 Fennec /10.0.2

BTW When I navigate to www.mobilejoomla.com on the above device (Motorola Matrix) the device pulls up the "Welcome to Mobile Joomla" mobile version -- so I know your system can recognize my device. I see your "Take a cour, Blog, DOcs etc -- using a mobile template.

Hi

Yes, I'm using the Mobile - TeraWURFL plugin The template I am using for the smart phone (which is what I assume the Android is) "mobile_smartphone"

Here's a link to a screen capture of my SmartPhone settings panel in MobileJoomla.

Okay.

Here's the update. Instead of trying to view the site via firerox, I viewed it via the android "Browser" application, finally got the site to show up with an mobile view.

After that I went directly via the android "Browser" and it ws showing the mobile view.

So I assume the site was somehow in my firefox cache.

There is an issue with the site navigation showing as links instead of the expected buttons.

As I said I am using the "mobile_smartphone" template
