As Virtuemart is quite complex an extension, Elegance does not mobilize Virtuemart out-of-the-box -- however, to accomplish that you can get a plugin from Daycounts.com which adds the desired functionality on top of Elegance. You will get a discount code for Daycounts Virtuemart plugin after purchasing Elegance.
