Test on HTC EVO 4G

Hi

I viewed the joomlamobile.com displaying the Elegance Template on both HTC EVO 4G & iPad and this is the route we want to go.

Three questions:
1. is there a way to test the HTC EVO 4G as I have been able to do with the iPhone?
using which of these codes?
www.[mydomain].com/?device=chtml
www.[mydomain].com/?device=desktop
www.[mydomain].com/?device=iphone
www.[mydomain].com/?device=wml
www.[mydomain].com/?device=xhtml
2. Is there a way to test locally for iPad as I haven't seen a "?device=ipad" listed?
3. I want to install this on a test site to learn it prior to the dev site. Is this possible as I see you only lisc per domain.

1. For HTC EVO 4G standard smartphone mode will be used, that is ?device=xhtml
2. For tablet you can use ?device=tablet mode to test (it works in MJ Pro only)
3. It's allowed to MJ on test domains, but in this case remote device database will not work and MJ Pro backend will display that license is expired.

Thanks Dryabov

What happens to my site after 1 year? I see pro says per year.

1. Remote device database will not work.
2. MJ Pro backend will display that license is expired.
3. Your access to MJ Pro download/update, support, and documentation pages on mobilejoomla.com will be blocked.

I just want to buy the Elegance template, configure and install on one domain & be done with it.

Am I going to have to renew each year to keep this mobile site from going down?

For Elegance template after 1 year your access to Elegance download/update, support, and documentation pages on mobilejoomla.com will be blocked.

And note that to have support of tablets (iPad, etc.), MJPro is necessary (basic version of MJ uses desktop template for tablets).

Ok dryabov

Just to confirm, after 1 year, my mobile site will still work without some sort of message on it, correct?

I didn't really understand what this meant: "Remote device database will not work."

I understand there will be no further support or updates.

Yes.

It's related to MJPro subscription, not to Elegance.

Hi Dryabov

I do have one additional question about Elegance and tablet. What happens with display on tablet once my year MJ Pro subscription ends. Will the nice tablet display in Elegance also stop or will it just no longer be supported with updates?

2. For tablet you can use ?device=tablet mode to test (it works in MJ Pro only)

Nothing. It will work as before.
