Does Mobile Joomla work with K2 extension

I have a website that runs on K2 extension - OVER 3000 ARTICLES. The menu Items are linked to K2 Categories. I would like to know if mobile joomla will pick the K2 ARTICLES and CATEGORIES and be mobile-friendly or is it just meant for Joomla articles.
