Mobile Menu is showing up on desktop site!

I'm just installing Mobile Joomla for the first time. I believe I followed all the instructions, and the mobile site works on my devices (iPad, iPod); BUT the Mobile Menu shows up when viewing the main site on a desktop! And, of course, because I copied the main menu from the site to make the mobile menu, they are exactly the same (except for the name) so the menu shows up twice... first as the mobile menu, then immediately below that as the main menu.

How do I remove the mobile menu from the main site but still keep the mobile site working?
