Force as Home Page not working

I am using Mobile Joomla and the Elegance Template. I have a separate menu for the mobile site and the standard site. When I set the "Force as Homepage" field to the "Home" menu item from the mobile menu, it doesn't work and instead a page with navigation and no content displays at the base site URL, www.edgenet.com. If I choose "Home" from the navigation, then the "Home" page from the mobile menu displays. Please help. Thanks.

Do you use a 3rdparty sef extension?

No, we use the built in SEF.

Do you set homepage on "General" tab? In this case check that this field is empty on other tabs to use value from "General" tab.
