Hi. I have installed Mobile Joomla! on one of my sites. It was working, but not as expected, because Joomfish translations and some sub menus were not displayed. After trying to find a way to get the component working with Joomfish and displaying the sub menus items, I have decided to uninstall it until finding the solution for my problem. Later, i have installed the component again, but this time nothing works and my Iphone shows the PC regular view. What can I do in order to get the component working again?

Do you have "Mobile Joomla!" system plugin published?
Do you have 4 default plugins of mobile group published? What is the order of plugins?

Hi. Thanks for answering. Yes, "Mobile Joomla!" system plugin is published. As you can see in the images, all the necessary plugins are published and you can see the order also. I'm wondering that's my problem comes may be from the template that I'm using for my site. Now, I went to the templates manager, I have clicked on mobile_pda template (not for asigning one of them, just to see if I discover something) and when I get out of there, the template it's not ticked anymore. I have uninstalled and installed again the component and its was working, but when I have clicked on standard view, stop working. If you want to see my site, the adress is

Well, I can not add file here, something is not working. I tell you the order of plugins then ( all published ):

28 Mobile - Simple -2

Any idea...?

Sometimes this type of problem is solved by deleting all cookies; session and domain.
And also clear the cache on the viewing browser.

I just viewed the site using firefox and user agent switcher. I used an iphone agent and got the iphone template. I then switched to standard view and got the desktop view. Then, as you described, it stuck in that view and did not show the iphone template. I deleted domain cookies and session cookies and it stayed stuck. I then viewed cookies and deleted the 3 that it showed me; a session cookie which I think Joomla gives every site visitor, jfcookie[lang] and mjmarkup. I then reloaded current page and it showed me the site using the iphone template.

Apart from repeating the experiment to determine which cookie is responsible I'm not sure what to advise.

Yes, the same for me. When I went to standard view the mobile template did not came back. I will check here if I can find a post with a situation refering to the switch to standard view. Thanks again for posting.

Well, it looks like a current problem an many posts about switching template are without answer. I'm tryng an other plugin and its works, but I get an other problem : I don't see the main menu navigation. Anyway, this matter it's not a simple thing, even with pay components there are some troubbles before its working well. I think Joomla it's not fully ready for mobile in its current version... May be on 1.6...

There is another possibility. It is only optional to show the standard view link, so you could have the site without the link. Disable the Select Markup (mod_mj_markupchooser)
