I am getting errors in IE8 when I turn on the mobilebot plugin. I tried using the IE compatibility plugin and it reduced some of the errors but these remain...

Warning: fopen(/home/nihresea/public_html/plugins/mobile/terawurfl/data/wurfl.log) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/nihresea/public_html/plugins/mobile/terawurfl/TeraWurfl.php on line 457

Warning: fputs(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/nihresea/public_html/plugins/mobile/terawurfl/TeraWurfl.php on line 458

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/nihresea/public_html/plugins/mobile/terawurfl/TeraWurfl.php on line 459

I would appreciate any insight to a solution.

Hi,

On creating directory "data" in plugins/mobile/terwurfl the errors on the website have gone but Android browser is not getting recognized and thus normal site is coming up (for www.sahajayogaworkshop.org). This is a strange behaviour since it seems to be working for a mirror site (for www.sahajayogaworkshop.org/test).

Please let me know what your analysis is and how to resolve this.

The error in log says:

Sun, 15 May 2011 07:31:22 -0500 [dacia.websitewelcome.com 11141][Tera-WURFL] WARNING: I could not find the requested capability (is_wireless_device), returning NULL

Testing this issue on one site showed that it comes from incorrect record in cache table. So, clearing of jos_TeraWURFLCache fixed it.

cd root directory of your site
cd plugins/mobile/terawurfl
mkdir data

PS. You can use FTP client to do the same action, of course.

PPS. What exactly you don't understand?
