PHP Error once launched

I am getting the php notice below now that I have gone live with a site for a client. This message doesn't exist in my staging server which is on Rochen. The client is not on Rochen and the site is in one of two sub-domains both. The client's host is on PHP 4.3.10. I'm thinking either of the differences might be the cause. When I googled the string there are lots of sites with this error out there. Looking for ideas or solves. thanks Heidi
