Cannot download TeraWURFL database

Hi, I was able to install the extension, but I get this error:
Cannot download TeraWURFL database
TeraWURFL will be disabled.

This is my site: centrodeeducacionactiva.com/
My hosting is provided by Yahoo!, Joomla version is 1.5.23, and PHP 5.

I appreciate any advice.

Cheers,

To populate TeraWURFL database MobileJoomla tries to do the following actions:
1. Unpack tera_dump.sql.bz2 archive, but it requires bzip2 php extension to be enabled on the server.
2. (If above procedure fails) Download gzipped version of tera_dump.sql from mobilejoomla.com, but it requires allow_url_fopen option in php.ini to be enabled.
3. (If both above procedures fail) Disable TeraWURFL plugin and show corresponding message.

So, if you like to use TeraWURFL, either enable bzip2 extension or allow_url_fopen option.

Hi, I am not really computer literate, I don´t know how to enable those extensions. I wouldn't like to be manipulating files in the server and cause any harm.

I see in my joomla administrator site that the plugin is not enabled (the rest are). What consequences might this have?

Thanks!

It means that instead of full database of mobile device information MobileJoomla will use set of simple heuristics. That is sometimes type of device may be determined incorrectly.

Ok, I understand. Any advice on how to fix it? Serverwise, Yahoo! is kind of rigid. That's why I'm a little hesitant, but I do want to solve this.

Thanks!

Workaround here is to unpack tera_dump.sql.bz2 (it's in packages/plugins/terawurfl of distributive) to the root of your site (where configuration.php is placed). Then reinstall MobileJoomla. The MobileJoomla installation procedure will use this file in the case of problems with unpacking original bzip2-file.

Ok, I was able to do all that, but I get the same error:

Cannot download TeraWURFL database
TeraWURFL will be disabled.

tera_dump.sql.bz2 is already in my root folder.

Thanks!

Not tera_dump.sql.bz2 but tera_dump.sql (unpacked archive).
