Too Many Redirects after update

Hi
I have just updated Mobile Joomla but now I am getting a problem when I try to load site on iPhone. I am getting an error message 'too many redirects'
My site is www.proficiencypost.com
I have redirects set to remove www. as this breaks other subscription modules. This was working ok on my iPhone4 but did not work on iphonetester.com
I have subdomain set up on my host for iphone.proficiencypost.com
Is there some other settings that have changed on update?
Maybe other changes have happened on the site and I did not see change to mobile joomla.
Can anyone please help fix.

Looks like variable $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] doesn't contain domain name. What webserver do you use?

My server is
Parallels Plesk Panel version 9.5.4
Operating system Linux 2.6.18-194.11.3.el5
CPU GenuineIntel, Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G6950 @ 2.80GHz
PHP 5.2.17
Zend Optimizer v3.3.9

My PHP was updated in June so maybe this started then

I mean webserver: apache, nginx, iis, etc. Maybe it's apache behind nginx (or smth similar with front and back servers) that didn't setup well and doesn't pass HTTP_HOST to backend server.

We run fast/cgi as Apache caused problems with permissions. We switched to fast/cgi about 2-3 month ago. Site running ok bar minor upgrades. Only on joomlasef 1.5.23 and not upgraded to 1.6 or 1.7 yet.
We do run on sight using ARTIO SEF

If you need to know anything else then please ask

Many thank

Wicko,

The problem was because of you had incorrect value in "Homepage" field of iphone settings. This field should contain non-sef URL of menu item that will be used as a home instead of desktop value, and in most cases it's choosen from the list below this field. Incorrect value here forced JoomSef to do redirect from this homepage to "more correct" homepage that is actually the same page. I've cleared the field to stop redirects.
Another issue on your site was that webserver responsed with 403 error for the following files:templates/mobile_iphone/css/mj_iphone.csstemplates/mobile_iphone/jqtouch-src/themes/apple/theme.min.cssTo solve the issue I've changed its permissions from 660 to 664.

Hi Dryabov

Many thanks for fixing my problem with Mobile Joomla. This is really a great product.

I will now continue to edit the template to try and get it looking a bit more sympathetic with my site.

Many thanks

Wicko
