Mobile Joomla installation issues - pls help

Hello,
We have installed the mobile joomla and when we tried to access it from backend it gave 404 error. "Incorrect usage of Mobile Joomla." We have uninstalled mobile joomla, still it gives error in front end.

Check the attached screenshot and please advise.

I was not able to download the attachment. The gallery view is very tiny.
I think it says
Database error Unable to connect to the database Could not connect to MYSQL

Can you confirm that this is the error message you were seeing in the front end?

I don't know why the MySQL error has started. Here is a (very long) thread which discusses possible causes and solutions.

You might be able to find out from the people who host the website what their parameters are for MySQL databases. Things like how many connections, how much memory. There has been discussion in this MJ forum about constraints which affect MJ. Basically MJ uses a database of different types of mobile phone and tries to match the one that is accessing the website so MJ can use the appropriate template to deliver content to the browser.

The Unable to connect with MySQL error message was started by me changing the database password in cPanel, without changing the website script. Once the error was there I was unable to log in to the administrator. The way to fix it was to download the configuration.php file, update the password, have godaddy make the file writable so I could upload it to the FTP client, and the error message was gone.

Thank you so much for your help! I was advised to restore the db for $150 and 10 days, which was not an option. And starting over neither... Being a beginner with joomla, I feel very happy now.

I am not able to install it at all. It's taking a long time. I couldn't wait for more than 5 min for installing a component.
