Hello am a bit lost on how to go about getting this to work i read the setting and configuration document on the site but that didnt help much it mostly discribes what each setting does am more looking for a step by step tutorial.
I have a hosting account with godaddy and i made a subdomain which created an empty folder which my subdomain point to. In the setting of MJ i set domain multisite to yes, Smartphone (XHTML-MP/WAP2.0) Domain filled it with my subdomain address, redirect set to no and in the SmartPhone tab i set the home page to my primary site address, when i visit my subdomain i get Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered

What is the next step after making a subdomain?
Am i to put a new install of joomla in the subdomain folder that was created?
Am i to create a new artical and set the MJ pda template to it and set that as my home page under the SmartPhone Tab?

again a step by step guild would be nice any help on this would be appreciated thank

The first step to make mobile subdomain is to setup subdomain as an alias to main domain. That is going to subdomain you will see your main domain index page.
I don't know what the options godaddy has, but usually hosters allows either to make aliases directly, or to set directory for subdomain that allows to set the same directory for subdomain and main domain.
