Mobile detection and redirect

Hi, this is what I hope is a simple request,

Is it possible for me to route for example an iphone to use the mobile_pda template?

I've been checking plugins/mobile and I never knew device detection could be so complex! I'm drowning in files, no idea which to edit

To make all iphones that visit the site use the pda template,
Joomla back end admin
Components > Mobile Joomla > Settings
iphone tab
Template name is a drop down menu, choose mobile_pda
and apply
