Installation Problem

After clicking on "Download WURFL", the following error shown.

Downloading wurfl.sourceforge.net/wurfl.zip
Error: Cannot open remote file.

This may be due to my hosting problem which disabled remote access on server. So is there any alternative to install wurfl?

I get the same error!
I got around by unzipping locally, uploading all files on server in a temp directory then installing from server.

me too! error installing... unable to find installation package. I'm going to try uploading it to my server and installing it using URL. Will report my findings

nope still wont work

Do not install, missing file install.mobilejoomla.php in the package

Just unpack on tmp directory and select that directory as source, it installed just fine !!!

I got the same error. Will uninstalling work if the files are installed from a temporary directory without the installer php file?
