Hi there,
I've just installed my Joomla site and kickstarted the backup off my localhost. I've gotten everything running fine except for Windows Phone no longer detects the pda_mobile template.

I uploaded tera_dump.sql and reinstalled RC4 and got a "copy failed" but right after it read "Installing component was successful."

I know it's a TeraWURFL issue of some sort, but I need help to figure it out. Thanks very much for your patience with this very basic issue!

First of all, clear cookies in WP's browser (it may be that you switched to desktop mode and the mode was saved in cookies).
If the problem will exist, drop all the jos_TeraWurfl tables from your database and reinstall MJ (that install over existing version to keep all your settings).

Hey Dryabov,
Nice chatting with you again. I can drop the tables but here's my concern:
When I reinstalled MJ the last time, I got the "copy failed" warning. I don't want to get in to a spot where I blow up a site I've got working (for the most part) in case MJ doesn't install correctly. When I get

"Copy Failed" followed by
"Installing Component was Successful"

is it safe to assume that the MJ installed all the way? If you think it'll work I'll go ahead, drop tables, then reinstall.

So I should drop all tables that begin with teraWURFL (about 90 of them)? In my db they all begin with cgep6_ and not jos_   I assume that does not matter?

"copy failed" message means that permissions of a file/folder don't allow you to rewrite it. Unfortunately, it's unclear which files/folders lead to the issue.
You could try to temporary set full access (or at least check current permissions) to the following folders (and maybe files inside):
/administrator/components/com_mobilejoomla
/administrator/languages/en-GB/administrator/modules
/languages/en-GB
/modules
/plugins
/templates
/tmp

This installation is on Network Solutions, and I can't modify permissions on the database without upgrading to a much more expensive plan.

My last ditch idea is to:

1) uninstall MJ from the site that's still on my computer
2) backup and kickstart that site onto Network Solutions (without MJ)
3) install MJ fresh on the Network Solutions site

Or would MJ not install at all do you think? I mean- it's possible the only way the tables got in to the database was by my kickstarting them there. Come to think of it, the Ad Remover isn't working either. I searched the MJ forums here and couldn't find one instance of "Network Solutions". Is there anybody out there that has used MJ successfully on Network Solutions?

Your way should work too (especially if you didn't change MJ setting significally).

Unfortunately, I know nothing about Network Solutions to say you anything about possible issues.
