Couple of issues on install

I have a top nav menu I would prefer to default on my mobile device. How can I control that? Also, the 'Home' on the menu of my iphone does gets a 404 error. The home on my joomla is frontpage but the iphone directs to
www.mysite.com/home.

How do I fix this?

Hi,
For the menu problem look at www.mobilejoomla.com/forum/topic.html?id=603

For the redirects problem, have you set anything in
components > K mobile joomla! > settings > global settings iphone/ipod domain domain name?

I fixed the menu problem. Now, I use jomsocial component - social network. I had to change my Image adaptation method to "don't rescale" otherwise I got errors on image rescaling.

But the jomsocial is not mobile in presentation. Does mobile joomla work with jomsocial? I also have a facebook sign on with the jom social and facebook like to my application in facebook and want that front and center in my mobile joomla. Does mobile joomla have a facebook like add on?

One more thing, in the template mobile_iphone when I preview, it looks like it shows my site's frontpage and not the way it is looking on the actual device iphone for example. I would like to have a screenshot and photoshop what my website looks like on the mobile device to promote it. But the preview is different than what displays on the device.

Also, how do I change the name (which is currently taking it from {{sitename}}. When I go into mod_mj_header and change title next {{sitename}} to another name - in my case 'OFC Mobile'. It does not display on the iphone.

How do I modify the header of the iphone device?

Glad you fixed the menu problem.

I don't know anything about Jomsocial. There have been a couple of posts in this forum about it, but no-one has reported that they have got it to work with Mobile Joomla.

How are you seeing the preview? It might be possible to use firefox and a user agent switcher to see the mobile version, then take a screen shot and edit it with an image editor.

I agree with your finding that Header Module is not affecting the name used on the iphone. It looks as though
templates/mobile_iphone/index.php is hardcoded to site name, but my code reading skills may be deficient.

I'm hoping that someone else will be able to help you further.
