Can't Get Mobile Templates to Show Up

Just a bit of background, 99% of the sites I've built over the last several years have been on servers at 1and1.

I have gotten Mobile Joomla to work on installations of Joomla 1.5.

In order to work correctly under Joomla 1.5, I always had to deactivate the plug-in for 'TeraWURLF'.

...

I'm working on my first Web site for a client using Joomla 2.5.  I kept getting a blank screen after attempting to install Mobile Joomla.  I saw that if I removed 'TeraWURLF' from the installation package that it may install.  This was correct - everything (with the exception of 'TeraWURLF') installed correctly and has been published.

I have tested the site on iPads, iPhones, Android tablets and phones.  The desktop version always appears.  Mobile Joomla does not appear to work at all.

I have gone through all the settings and tried to compare them as best I could to the other installations under Joomla 1.5 (all running on servers at 1and1).  Nothing appears to be set incorrectly.

...

I'm sure there's other information you'd need to help assist me, I'm happy to provide whatever info you need.

EDIT:  MyPHP version 5.  My SQL version 5.  Hosting package:  'Beginner' (provided by 1and1).  ...temporary URL (www.esolutionsfirst.twiskonline.com), I have actually tried pointing the domain 'twiskonline.com' to the installation as well, no change.

...have read through the FAQ, have watched a video, have gone through the forums, I absolutely cannot find a single explanation as to why this does not work.

Quick Update:

I've discovered that Mobile Joomla is in fact working.  The reason I wasn't seeing it was that I was typing 'www' in front of the URL.  Removing the 'www' from the front of the URL reveals the mobile template (which needs some work still).

...

My question now is, I'm sure there are other folks out there who will also type 'www' in front of the URL.  How do I direct those people to the mobile version of the site?

EDIT:  LOL, I hadn't changed any settings - went to view it on another mobile device and Mobile Joomla stopped working.  Went back to the original mobile device I'd been testing, hit refresh.  Yep, Mobile Joomla stopped working there too.  Okay, I'm calling it a night.

So it's still not working even if you delete the "www"? How can you get it work on mobile version then?

I finally found a solution which I wrote in this thread:

Link

Hope that helps!

Oh, I should note - the fix is in the reply.  ...and you put that into your .htaccess file.  ...and be sure to change the domain and subdomain as needed of course.  Works like a charm.
