Template Overrides for Popular Extensions

Thanks for creating MobileJoomla, it's very nice.

The only thing holding this back is a collection of template overrides for popular extensions to tweak page layouts to fit well.

My requests would be:

Schu.net: EventList
azrul: JomSocial, MyBlog
JXtended.com: 'Finder' and 'Labels'

Did I miss any others are keen to have mobile versions of?

I would like to be able to override the MobileJoomla template for JomSocial specifically on the iPhone. JomSocial has a built in iphone template and user agent which gets broken by MobileJoomla

absolutely, also the jomsocial iphone theme is terrible. a website should have 2 templates, mobile and normal.

you can't have different mobile templates for different components, that's crazy.

I vote for this features too..
And it would be nice if it overrides Kunena template too..

This is really a must for us too. I hope this gets a future release of some sort. This thread got my vote too.

Ps. Absolutely best phone template system out there. Good work guys.

I'd prefer a field for custom css modifications and prevent of loading some page segements.

We have planned mobilizing the most popular Joomla! extensions in the future. However if you want to see your favorite extension mobilized now we can give you guidance how to mobilize existing extensions.

But sometimes it great pain: For example some extensions do not use Joomla!'s template system making it hard to poke with them

I would appreciate and even pay for Jomsocial mobilized by Mobile Joomla . And also K2 and Jwallpapers.

I am actually loving this and I have been very satisfied with the work I have been able to accomplish through this. Though, being able to override popular extensions would really help in making a tailorcut web site for a specific device. Though there are some who would prefer to see the desktop version even when on a mobile device.
