Preventing a desktop browser from going to subdomain

Hi,

We've set up a "touch" subdomain for iphones.  I need to prevent a desktop client from viewing the touch subdomain at all - even if they type it in... - I would prefer it to automatically re-direct to the www.

any thoughts please? thanks!
