Install fails - Other way to install?

Hi,
tried to install MobileJoomla but fails, because file is too big. Also other install methods do not work, for what reason ever. ...tried them. Is there another way to install the component? ...ftp -ing into the directories? How to make Joomla recognize the new component/module/plugs and so far? The changes I can make in my hosting environment are quite limited.

i have the same problem, with with server max script time. How can i install manually?

I have the same issue. Can't install and it just sits there and then gives me and index.txt script....

There is a way to unpack MJ archive, remove /plugins/terawurfl directory, pack it back to new archive, and install such a 'limited' version of MJ. In this case you will get working MobileJoomla, but without TeraWURFL plugin.

ans can wee add the tera after the install ??

but why mj have prob for installing this ? i have my own server , maybee i can change parameter for install mj properly ?

It will be better to separate MJ for parts and itstall as plug, templates, component

i have modified my server for have the good plugin and composant , but i still have a blank screen after install ,

i don't want install de limited version , anybody have an idea for make full install work ??
