mobile joomla 0.9.12-dev edition for joomla 1.6 save issue

Hi all, I know that this version is still in development stage at the moment, but I have Joomla 1.6 so installed 0.9.12-dev version but I have found that the settings do not save so I cannot get it to work out of the tin as it were ( I have set up sub-domains and need to set the paths to the temp install folder where joomla currently resides on my site._ Everything installed OK to my knowledge as the screen said that it installed without any issues.

I'd also like to say that this is a fantastic mod from what I've seen in videos on the interent, and it's the reason that I chose joomla in the first case.

Does joomla mobile 0.9.11 works on joomla 1.6? Please let me know. Thanks!

0.9.12 will be able to be installed on J!1.6, but currently old mobile templates don't work correctly in J!1.6, so most likely support of J!1.6 will not be announced in 0.9.12 release.
