Mobile menu suddenly stopped working

A few days ago I set up mobile joomla on my site and it was working wonderfully.

Last night I installed your google analytics plugin on it but then when I checked today the menu system wasn't working as it should (instead its now just showing text links over the site logo)

I hoped that installing the latest version would fix this but it hasn't

Hi,
I looked at the site using the tools I have available.
For the pda screen I used firebug with firefox to change the html on the fly.
The logo was too big and, as you described, the menu was obscured by it.
I found that shrank it enough. (Original height was 93).

When I tested it, I was seeing the xhtml/pda template instead of the iphone template. I used an iphone user agent switcher.
(If that sounds like gobbledegook, search this forum for "user agent switcher". If you don't find anything, let me know and I'll give some references.)
I tried testing with iBBdemo2 (an iphone emulator) and got the same xhtml/pda template so I do not know what it looks like with the iphone template.
I do not know what effect the google analytic plugin is having.

the size of the logo hadn't been a problem (at least on the iphone version that I'm viewing on) the day before.

As I mention in my original post the issue was the formatting on the menu buttons that had changed from the standard ones to ordinary text links.

This morning i uninstalled MJ and then reinstalled it again, linking back to all the files in the same way I did before.

And its fixed.

Now I just have to decide if I reinstall the analytics plugin again or not

it was working for me out of the box beautifully. I couldn't believe how simple it was.

I did test out the 'normal web version' link at the bottom of the mobile version and it worked, but wasn't sure how to get back to the mobile version other than hitting the back button.

any way, that, along with commenting out the footer (before I saw that there was a toggle for it in settings) that was the last thing i did before going to sleep.

The usual way to flip flop between mobile and desktop view is to have two copies of the select markup module. One published to the footer of the desktop template and one published to mj_all_footer. That way you can select mobile view and standard view alternately.
Sometimes it sticks on one view, or the module is not shown on the desktop view.
In these cases and the one you describe you can delete all cookies, (session and domain). MJ will then show the default view for the browser, i.e. if you are looking from a mobile, the mobile view. From a desktop, the desktop view.
