image scaling not working

replace imagerescaler.class.php with this code:

Tried that first and it didn't help.
Maybe i got this wrong.

In my options, i've set it to rescale if bigger, but when i'm using vertical view pictures are wider, when i use horizontal they are within display. Should they be resized in vertical view as well ? 

There's a decrease image width setting. I used 40 and it works out well. Try that, I think that's what you are talking about.

tried that, not working. Why don't you try to open it via mobile, you will see on the second picture what i mean.

MobileJoomla doesn't rescale external images.

Image scalling does not work. I am using RC6. Fixed rescale setting is on and decrease image width is set to 0. Raising the number has no effect either. You can see by visiting highpointechurchofchrist.org and clicking on 'worship'. The image is just a normal img and yet will not scale down to fit screen. Tried using the code in an earlier post in this thread. It did not do anything unfortunately.

Most likely the problem is that you use spaces in filename.

i have some additional information as of MobileJoomla v.1.0.1
1. the image resizing process is not a problem. New files are created in /images/stories/Resized and they look fine
2. image URL encoding has issues: spaces become %2520 instead of simply %20

I am still not sure if this happens on every site or if there is some specific Joomla / server configuration that causes the issue.
