Google Analytics stopped seeing mobile devices

Since 5th Feb, which I think is when I updated the Mobile Joomla version on my Joomla 1.5 site, Google Analytics has stopped seeing all mobile traffic. I updated my 1.7 site at the same time and that one is fine. Anyone else found this problem?

Did you add adsense code to your mobile site?

I realised what the problem was - the template index files had been replaced when I upgraded the Mobile Joomla version (probably I upgraded it wrongly) so of course the tracking code I had put in the template files had gone. I have put the tracking code back in the template index files and it all works again now. Thanks and phew!

emphilpott, you can install and publish Google Analytics Mobile module instead of hardcoding it in template. This module uses inline image to track, so that it works even on old phones with javascript disabled.

Unfortunately I tried that first but never got it working. Not sure why - probably something I did wrong. It works just as well putting the code in the template so I am very happy.
