Yes, it's valid.
But it seems that AMDD plugin in MJ 1.1.1 detects devices better than Scientia plugin.

iphonetester.com is not emulator, it's just iframe with desktop page. It will display iphone version if you force it by yoursite.com/?device=iphone URL (don't forget to switch to desktop version after testing using yoursite.com/?device=desktop).
