Installation Challenge

I tried to install but kept getting the following error:

JFile: :read: Unable to open file: C:\AppServ\www\corporate/tmp/gzip51fa8864c3ae2
Unable to read archive

Do please assist

Try to unpack files manually and install it with "Install from directory" method.

I don't know how to do that please.
Is there a procedure I can read up, in order to achieve that?

Hello,

Someone recommended Mobile Joomla to me and I decided to go for it. But I am having problem testing anything because of installation errors which I believe is minor. I couldn't make a headway even with the method that was recommended because the file in the example does not seem to exist. Can I get someone to assist with this issue please? 

Unpack MJ package to C:\AppServ\www\corporate\tmp\MJ and install from this directory. What error is displayed?

I can see is  /public_html/C:/AppServ/www/corporate/
Is that the path you are referring to?

If so, there is only 'logs' folder but no 'tmp' folder. Do I need to create the 'tmp' folder inside corporate?

There is only 'logs' folder but no 'tmp' folder.
I create a 'tmp' folder inside corporate, then uploaded and extracted Mobile Joomla. Then I specified that directory in Joomla extension manager. It gave me the following error


        JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
        Path does not have a valid package.

1)Is that the correct directory?
2)Do I need to create 'tmp' folder since it was not there before?
3)What is the way forward please?
