In some cases "Unable to write entry" error may be avoided by manual unpacking MJ package files into Joomla's tmp directory on the server, and then installing it using "Install from directory" method.

We have finally fixed "Unable to write entry" issue. The problem is in Joomla's tar unpacker code, it doesn't process "end of file" record in tar archive (sequence of 512 or more zero bytes at the end of file). So, now in our building script we have a code that removes that record from tar archive.

Good luck in updating your websites to the latest Mobile Joomla! release!
