Unable to install

Hello

I am unable to instal Mobile extension on my website,i am using joomla 1,5X version

error is like this

JFile::read: Unable to open file: 'C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\STCPL\tmp/gzip4f2d0c6d48c70'
Unable to read archive

Please help!!!

Try to unpack it manually and install by "Install from directory" method.

after trying to install through directory method it is showing following error

Please enter a package directory

Please help

please help

i have same problem, but when i change the file format Mobile-Joomla.1.2.3.tar.gz to Mobile-Joomla.1.2.3.zip  the module successfully installed

i have a same kinds of problem and and i change it to mobile joomla zip and then this installed so hope follow it and you get benefit
