Redirect to Desktop Version not working

After upgrading to the latest version of Mobile Joomla, when I enabled the link to desktop version, instead of redirecting to the desktop url specified in the Mobile Joomla advanced settings, an error page is shown indicating that website is unavailable. When I checked the URL being visited, it looks like this

<sitename>/?device=desktop

instead of being redirected to the desktop URL specified.

Are there any other files to be configured to activate the desktop URL?

What value do you have in "URL" field in Advanced tab of MJ settings page?

I have been getting this error when ever I assign a menu item to mobile_iphone template in Template Manager for Mobile Joomla.I would be happy if anybody could provide me instructions on how to get mobile template running as well as how to work on it as well as avoid the error when I go to my site in PC.Your early response will be grateful.

Hi! What is the specific error? Is the error related to redirection of website to desktop version? if not, then maybe you could post a new topic regarding your question perhaps under Templates section.
