Announcing Mobile Joomla! 1.0 (stable)

This is the hottest and busiest week of the year for the global mobile industry with the Mobile World Congress taking place in Barcelona. We, the Mobile Joomla! team, would like to join the celebration in spirit and announce an exciting milestone: Mobile Joomla! 1.0 is ready for you to download. This release is not only the first stable release, but also has a fully redesigned UI making it even easier to use and manage. We hope you will enjoy.

First, a big Thank You to all of our awesome users for continued support and encouragement all this time. What's more, in the weeks to come you will notice that we're in fact speeding up – there's a ton of great new stuff coming your way!

Improvements & highlights

• Redesigned and improved User Interface, with beautiful native look on all Joomla! versions (1.5, 1.6, 1.7 and 2.5)
• Module position changes and improvements
• "mobile_pda" is renamed to "mobile_smartphone"
• Breadcrumbs is removed from default interface (you still can display them by publishing the module)
• Tablet detection fixes
• Subdomain redirection fixes
• Fixes for URL-encoded URL support for image rescaling procedure

As always, you can update to the new version from your administrative panel via Mobile Joomla! Remote Update feature, or by downloading Mobile Joomla! 1.0 package and installing it from the back-end. Do not forget to backup your website before the upgrade!
