Replace it with
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^jrdtech.net$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ www.jrdtech.net/$1 [R=301,L]

Anyone have any experience doing this on a godaddy hosting server? I can't seem to get it to work. I can set up a forward on the domain of mobile.domain.com but I want to also be able to view that mobile website in my browser. It's much easier to use browser tools to help with configuring css than to trial and error code.

Yes, all subdomains should point to the same joomla installation.

Most likely the problems is that you make independent subdomain instead of alias to your main site (or having the same document_root path).

Joomla 1.5.x
I have tried to install 1.0.2 over old 0.9.8, (which worked with no problems) and all I get is the Sub Domain directory.
I deleted the sub domains, uninstalled mobile joomla, created the sub domains again re-installed 1.0.2, created the settings, pointed the modules to the created menu, still the same.

Is this version Suitable for 1.5.x ?

The documentation is out of date and pretty lousy as it does not give any detailed explanation of the different settings, it just assumes you know the functions. The screenshots are not relevant either.

Is the documentation going to get updated?

I have the exact same problem as Riza. Could you explain this further? Help!

I set up each of the sub-domains as several video tutorials have shown in the CPanel. In the advanced settings of Mobile Joomla, I entered the site with sub-domain the same and I get 'Index of/' on a white page.
Example: www.mysite.com (computer site)
iphone subdomain: iphone.mysite.com
etc...
Did I miss something in the Cpanel?
Time to create page: 0.12 seconds
