During install MobileJoomla (MJ) tries to unpack tera_dump.sql.bz2 file. If it's impossible on your server (that is either bz2 php extension is not loaded or bunzip2 program is not installed) then MJ tries to download unpacked version (19.4Mb) from mobilejoomla.com. Most likely you have a problem with downloading tera_dump.sql (that is php is able to open connection with remote server, but cannot download any data).

So, I recommend you to install/enable bz2 php extension, or to disable allow_url_fopen option in php.ini.

OK. Then it maybe because php is runned in CGI/FastCGI mode with very short timeout (note: I don't mean max_execution_time in php) that doesn't allow MJ installer to finish install procedure.

MJ cannot change server restrictions, so ask your server admin/support to increase timeout (as I know in most cases it's about 30-40 seconds, but it may be insufficient to populate TeraWURFL database).

I have access to my php.ini files, what timeout setting do I need to adjust? Or what file do I need to download and upload to my server to get by this error?

Thanks! Can't wait to test this out, but have to get past this error first.
