I have a custom html module that is enabled on our homepage whenever we have inclement weather. All it is, is just text saying the campus is closed on such and such date due to weather.  I set it up as a custom html module because if someeone who isn't familiar with Joomla needs to post it, it is less for them to possibly make a mistake on.

Is there a way to make this show on the mobile version?

The site is: www.mscok.edu, but the module is hidden right now since we are not having inclement weather.

Thanks
Bill

Hi,
Assuming this is done with a module; I use mod_custom, then you need to make 4 copies of the module.
One for each type of mobile browser. You then make the position somewhere on the browser.
For example I place the one for the desktop in banner
iphone mj_iphone_footer
imode mj_imode_footer
PDA mj_pda_footer
WAP mj_wap_footer

So when inclement weather closes the campus, the responsible person would enable 5 modules.
And when the sun comes out again, disable 5 modules.
OK?

I realised that MJ now has positions such as
mj_all_footer mj_all_header mj_all_middle
If the HTML is the same for each mobile browser, then you could just have two modules;one for the desktop and one for all mobile browsers.

Glad it worked for you, hope you don't have to use it often.

I made 1 copy of the module and assigned it to mj_all_header and it works in everything I tested it in.
