Would you be willing to post a screen shot of your admin settings for mobilejoomla plugin governing your mobilejoomla site, specifically the general settings, iphone settings, and smartphone settings? Blur out whatever might be prudent vis-a-vis privacy.
I have a frustrating situation where the site in question (
www.hickman-lowder.com) seems to behave properly when I test it both in the field (with various handsets) and on my Mac, via FFox spoofing various exotic user agents.
HOWEVER, the client herself has an iPhone:
(UA-string: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_10 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8E600 Safari/6533.18.5 )
...which behaves very badly. And by very badly, I mean, it serves a properly mobilized version of the mobilejoomla.com site and many other fine mobilized-and-UA-switched sites, yet FAILS to invoke the iPhone flavor of hickman-lowder.com. (*aaaaaaaargh*)
So there's SOMETHING wrong with my basic setup, but while the configuration documentation is reasonably complete in many respects, it doesn't have any detail on things like, "In this situation you will want to include the xml header, in this other you will want to opt for WAPFORUM/XHTML mobile 1.0 vs. 1.1..." etc, etc.
Now I'm just at the point where I'm saying (magical-thinking-like), "Maybe if I just set everything up exaaaaaactly like the developer does..."
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
