I did a search on this and read through the guidelines before posting and didn't quite see my issue here, so I decided to post:

we just added mobilejoomla to our site:

http://www.happysoft.it/

and we only want the main menu showing on the home page of the mobile site.

I set all templates to use the iphone template, but now that main menu is showing on every page.

I went into the main menu module and disabled all options but "Home" under the "MobileMain" heading in the Menu Assignment box, but the menu still shows everywhere.

Is there somewhere else I should be disabling this?

thanks for the quick response.

So I turned on one of them, and it does indeed follow the rules of the Menu Assignment (ie it only shows on the home page).

However, the main menu module is still showing on every page, even though I have deselected all "MobileMain" options in the Main Menu module. Can you think of why this might be? thanks!

I don't know. MobileJoomla doesn't change joomla's assignments processing at all.
So, check that you change assignment of the module that is displayed (e.g. there may be several mainmenu modules).
