I have just upgraded to Joomla 1.7.0 and Mobile Joomla 1.0 RC3

Now it seems that mobile joomla overwrites my template settings on all devices (also PC!).. i.e., I always see the mobile version. When I turn the plugin off, my normal template is seen when browsing from a PC.. 

Anyone able to tell me how to solve this?

There may be two reasons:
1. MJ saves last used mobile mode in cookies, so after testing of mobile version you should either to clear cookies or visit index.php?device=desktop page.
2. Certain mobile mode is selected in Mobile-Forever plugin.
