TOPIC: Re-instalation problems

Re-instalation problems 13 years, 2 months ago #5525

I installed Mobile Joomla on my site and it was up in 5 minutes. For some dumb reason I decided to remove the program and attempted to re-install it a week later. It will not re-install. Any ideas how to fix this problem? I managed to re-upload the file to my site but will not install.

Thank-you.

Somewhat related issue: I was trying to copy the main menu over to a new menu so I could tailor it for mobile. When I copied the menu, it placed a copy right underneath the main menu on the regular site, so I went back and deleted all the menu items in the second menu. Now when I'm looking at the site using an emulator, the pc site is showing up and I don't know how to get it back to the default mobile settings that Mobile Joomla shipped with.

I initially was going to just uninstall / reinstall it but A) there must be a better way to do this, and B ) after reading the above post I'm hesitant to uninstall. Any tips would be great. Many thanks,
Bill

Opera Mobile, Android, and Windows Phone. I found that if I just clear the cache in the emulator and in Joomla admin I can get the emulators to view to mobile site again. When looking at several iPhone emulators online I was only seeing the desktop site until I read your post about adding ?device=iphone to the URL.
Thanks!
