I need a little help in understanding what is the first step after installation? Am I supposed to create or have already created mobile versions of my website in sub-domains? What do you recommend in order to get a clean looking site for a mobile phone?

Also, I am not able to see anything when I am looking at my site on an Iphone. All I see is a white screen. Any ideas why?

I am not hosted on Godaddy. I am on a VPS with Cpanel. Joomla 1.5.20, PhP 5.2.12, mySQL 5.089

OK. I figured out why I could not see the rendering for an IPhone. I had to install the FirefoxUserAgent addon and then figure out how to use it.

Now, how do I only have certain menu items show up? I have tried to select them in the template manage but it is defaulting to the main menu. Any ideas?

Perhaps you know the answer to another question. In order to get smartphones to render the articles like the IPhone do I have to recreate the articles strictly in html as stand alone files in a sub-domain outside of Joomla?

Mobile Joomla! supports mobile-only articles through menu manipulation, but generally your existing articles go into mobile ok. Images are automatically resized.
