In order to get smartphones to render the articles like the IPhone (without showing the pc site's modules and menus) do I have to recreate the articles strictly in html as stand alone files in a sub-domain outside of Joomla?

I guess another way of saying what is happening is that when I click on a page it reverts back to my default Joomla template for the pc site instead of using the mobil template.

You can use user agent switcher plug-in.

I am using the user agent switcher-plugin but I thought I was only to use the IPhone 3.0 user agent when viewing for an IPhone. Are you saying I am supposed to use the IPhone 3.0 user agent to view all mobile phones?
