Hi, this is the error I'm getting.

Using Joomla! 1.5.18, and MJ 0.9.8.

Not getting it on my local box...

... only on the live site...

Have tried increasing MySQL thread_stack to 192 and 256 -- no dice. Also changed conf to reflect lower_case_table_names... Perhaps I need to upgrade to MySQL 5.1?

Turning off the TeraWURFL plugin solves the problem ( but so much for User Agent detection -- the subdomain routes are switching however. See iphone.rmgselection.com & m.rmgselection.com )...

What's up with this? Help appreciated.

Try to choose mysql4 mode in Mobile-TeraWURFL plugin settings.
If it doesn't help -> reinstall MobileJoomla.

BTW I can't install the thing online due to shared hosting crap (it's not my site, I built it for a client). Installed it locally and ported it to the live version.

Switching to MySQL produces:

What changes during the installation? Is there something that I can do manually do fix this?

Do you include stored procedures into mysql dump?

i have same problems. Joomla 1.5.
After install error:
Database error: Access denied for user 'username'@'%' to database 'databasename' SQL=LOCK TABLES `jos_TeraWurflIndex` WRITE
Instalator says succes.
But sites (like iphone.domain.com) show same erros described in this thread. on line 88 or 103.
My instalation is not ported. I build online. In database is record from this module (plugin)
All pluings are enabled. I have tried both sql options mysql 4 and 5.

tripleTTT, ask your hoster/admin to grant you "LOCK TABLES" privilege.
