I am a complete newbie to mobile joomla! I am not even sure I understand the concept of "how" it's supposed to work, just know how to follow directions. I have looked thru all the FAQ and read all the Docs and cannot follow the simple directions because I believe I am using a different joomla/mobile joomla version than in the docs.

I am using joomla 1.7.3 and mobile joomla 1.0 RC4.
I am on Rochen servers in Dallas, TX on Business Hosting Plan 1. My site is www.WTreF.com.

I am wanting the basics of how to setup mobile joomla. I went to docs and when I was creating the "Mobile Menu" I don't have an option to "Copy" the existing menu. The basics are not there for me??? Any help or updated docs would be great.

Here is the best way to explain this:

Create a new menu under "Menus" (Not menu items). Type in "Mobile Menu" with menu type of "mobile-menu."

Then go into your current "Main Menu" or any of your other menus -- That will now show the "Menu Items" list. Check all the boxes and at the bottom of the screen (under "Batch process the selected menu items") leave the set access level to "Keep original access levels."

Then under "Select Menu or Parent for Move/Copy" select the "Mobile Menu" option. Check "Copy" NOT "Move" and verify everything before hitting "Process."

If you have any other menus, repeat the process and you'll be good to go!

I hope that helps!
