Hi I'm new to Mobile Joomla,
I've just taken a look to the docs and tried it out, but I can't understand exactly how it should work.
Do I have to create a twin site for mobile devices in a separate directory/subdomain or is the component that detects the device used and then customizes the website layout automatically? Now I'm trying performing a second Joomla installation in a separate directory and subdomain using the same SQL of the main site, so that all the new article/content updates will be shown automatically in the mobile version too. Is this correct or may it bring security issues? The problem is that the Mobile Joomla version in the doc files seems to be different than the one available for download. The 'Settings' menu in the docs file has many options I can't actually find in my Joomla backend, such as the 'user agent checking' and the WURFL component required for layout resizing (by the way, is it something I can install on my own on a shared hosting or is it one of those libraries that can be set up only by the hosting company?)
