Hi

I am looking to do an external link menu item called "call us" as a tap-to-call feature and the standard tel:0800838393 code does not work as a menu item, but works fine in articles and modules - does anyone know how to get it to work as a menu item?

create a new external url menu item with this as the link

i suggest you to create a new external url menu item with this as the link . i am sure you get better result as you want.
