Hi
I installed Mobile Joomla on my server, but the mobile site does not run on a standard browser from Android, but instead appears desktop version. On Opera Mobile for Android mobile version is displayed.

Visit mobilejoomla.com/uatest.php on your "standard browser from Android" and post here result of testing (User-Agent string and mobile modes detected by mobile plugins).

I am having this issue as well with Ice Cream Sandwich. Mobile Joomla works well with a device on Gingerbread, but I have a new device with ICS and it does not work.

Results from test page:

User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux;
U; Android 4.0.4; en-gb;
SonyST21i Build/11.0.A.0.16)
AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML,
like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile
Safari/534.30

it doesn't work for me at all to. No matter what I do it displays standard version on my Samsung/Android 2.3

I reinstalled Mobile Joomla, ensuring that I selected the option to update device listings via the 3rd-party service (can't remember what it is called!) and it then worked.

Worth a try...

OK, I installed JTouch on another pretty much simple demo site. There are just few simple extensions, nothing fancy. The site right now opens up pretty nice but,...

I still have problem with recognizing mobile device. This means that when I turn the PlugIn ON, I get the mobile vesrion on the desktop PC.

What could be wrong ?
