I would like to give the mobile view the option of the 'mobile view' or the 'standard view' in a landing page. Some people, depending upon their mobile device would like to view the standard view instead. And yes, it is true, not everyone figures out to look at the bottom of the page for the two links.

So, is it possible to create an landing page with a short blurb stating they can choose here for Mobile or Standard view, and when they choose, they will be directed to the home page. The landing page for mobile view would be that, a landing page, and not the home page of the site.

You can make a page with "Select Markup" module on it (e.g. by making special article with Load Modules plugin) and set this page as homepage for mobile devices.
